Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced a notification to conduct Combined Civil Services Examination – 4 (Group-IV) for the recruitment of 9351 Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Grade-I, Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist, Steno-Typist vacancies on direct recruitment basis. - 6. Draftsman: 156 Posts
- 7. Typist: 3463 Posts
- 8. Steno-Typist: 815 Posts
Age Limit : Candidates age should be 21 to 40 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows, 21 to 30 years for Others for Post 1, 18 to 35 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes & Others, 18 to 32 years for Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Muslims), 18 to 30 years for Others” i.e., Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs and BCMs as on 01-07-2017. Educational : Candidates should possess General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies for Post 1 to 6, General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies & have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting i.e. Higher/ Senior Grade in Tamil and English/ Higher/ Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English/ Higher/ Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil for Post 7, 8.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination for Post 1 to 6, Technical qualification for Post 7, 8.
Registration Fee : Candidates should have register their basic particulars through One Time online Registration system on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment.
