University of Hyderabad has published a notification for the recruitment of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professor vacancies. Eligible Indian citizens may apply online from 21-12-2017 to 31-01-2018. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process & how to apply are given below…

• Professor: 11 Post
• Associate Professor: 25 Post
• Assistant Professor: 08 Post

Age Limit   :      Candidates age should be 65 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.


Educational    :      Candidates should possess An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, Master’s Degree in  Business Management/ Administration/ in a relevant discipline, First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/ Cost and works Accountant/ Company Secretary for Professor Posts, Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines, Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks, B.E./ B.Tech and M.E/ M.Tech in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Ceramic Engineering or related areas with First Class or equivalent, Ph.D in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Ceramic Engineering or related areas, Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed/ M.A) Education with 55% marks for Associate Professor Posts, Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET for Assistant Professor Posts with relevant experience. Selection Process   :       Candidates will be selected based on interview.


Application Fee   :      Candidates have to transfer Rs. 1000/- for General, OBC and TG (Third Gender) categories and Rs.300/- for candidates under ‘SC/ ST/ PwD’ category through online link provided in the application.


How to Apply   :      Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.uohyd.ac.in from 21-12-2017 to 31-01-2018 & send their hard copy of application along with necessary enclosures by post/ courier to The Assistant Registrar (Recruitment Cell), Room No. 221, First Floor, Administration Building, University of Hyderabad, Professor C.R. Rao Road Central University, P.O., Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500 046 on or before 31-01-2018 by 05:00 pm. Mention on the top left side of the cover the name of the post with subject and specialization (if any), SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ General, etc.

• 3. Select the desired post & Click on online link.
• 4. Register if candidate would be the new user
• 5. Log in directly if candidate have already registered
