West Central Railway has released a new recruitment notification for the posts of Scouts & Guide Quota. There are 08 (Eight) vacancies in this notification. Educational :
- Group ‘C’: 12th Pass or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized Board.
- Group ‘D’: 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Age Limit : As on 01st January 2017
- Group ‘C’: Minimum Age Limit is 18 Years & Maximum Age Limit is 28 Years
- Group ‘D’: Minimum Age Limit is 18 Years & Maximum Age Limit is 31 Years
Selection Process : Selection Process will be based on Written Test & Scouting Skill Assessment.
Application Fee : Interested and Eligible candidates and Job applicants have to pay the below application charges through online Mode by using Net Banking/Debit Cards/Credit Cards or Challan.
- SC / ST / PWD/ Ex-Servicemen Candidates: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred)
- General / OBC Candidates: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only)

- Before applying online candidates should have valid e-mail ID & Mobile No.
- Candidates log on to http://www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in/
- Go to Recruitment – Railway Recruitment Cell – Scout & Guide notification – Notification for Scouts & Guides Recruitment (2017-18)’
- Click on “New Registration” for Registration Number.
- Login with Registration Number and Password.
- Fill up details and upload the photograph, signature, self-attested documents
- Submit the Examination Fee
- After successful completion of transaction, a payment receipt will be generated, take the printout of the receipt.
