Cochin Shipyard Workmen (Electronic Mechanic) Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification :
Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic.
Experience : Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.
Age Limit :
a) The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall not exceed 45 years as on 30 December 2024, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 31 December 1979.
b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
c) The upper age limit shall be relaxable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) & Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines subject to a maximum age of 50 years.
Application Fee :
Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee.
Whereas other candidates have to pay Rs.600/-
Salary :
First year: Rs.23300/-
Second year: Rs.24000/-
Third year: Rs.24800/-
