JEE Advance Eligibility 2026
Qualifying Examination :
A candidate should be among the top 200000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2026. The percentages of various categories are: 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these four categories, 3% horizontal reservation is available for PwD (including Dyslexic) candidates. A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in all the subjects in either. Candidates who appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination and wish to re-appear in the same (either for improvement or because they failed in one or more subjects), will have to re-appear in all the subjects. Those who appeared for the first time in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination or earlier are NOT eligible. However, candidates whose Class XII (or equivalent) examination Board results for the academic were declared after June are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced).
Age Limit : The student should have been born on or after October 01, 1993. A relaxation of 5 years shall be given to the students belonging to SC, ST and PWD candidates.
JEE Advanced 2026 Registration
