National Science Olympiad Eligibility 2026
Education Qualification
1. Top 5% of the students from each class who appeared for the Level 1 exam
2. Top 25 zone wise rank holders from each class
3. Class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam and score 50% qualifying marks
Application Fee
1. The registration fee for the students of schools in India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, & Nepal is Rs. 125/- (including GST) per student/ Olympiad.
2. There is no fee applicable for students suffering from any major physical disability.
3. The Indian students whose parent was martyred during defence operations also need not pay the application fee.
4. The application fee for other countries is US$9.

1. The school will provide the admit card or roll numbers to the students who are going to appear for the 25th National Science Olympiad 2026.
2. To receive the admit card for their students, the school’s coordinating teacher should fill the School registration form (SRF) and student’s registration sheet (SRS).
3. In order to get the roll number, the schools should ensure that they send both SRS and SRF before the last date.
4. SOF will generate the admit card/ roll numbers for all the students based on the data received from the school.
6. All the students will be allowed to appear for the examination need to have a valid admit card or roll number.
