GSSSB Junior Industry Inspector Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification :
(i) a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or
(ii) a diploma in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) of the Technical Examination Board or an institution recognised as such by the Government and; have about two years experience of practical work as a technical worker (but not as a labour) in the Government. or the Government undertaking Board or any industry or largescale industrial house or company established under the Companies Aci, 2013;
(c) possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
(d) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Eligible Engineering Branches: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Automobile, Chemical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Plastic, Rubber, Textile, Printing, etc. (Please refer to pages 5 to 8 of the official notification for the complete detailed list of eligible branches).
