JKPSC School Lecturer (English) Eligibility 2026
Education Qualification : Master’s Degree in concerned subjects from a Recognised University.
Age Limit :
Candidates belonging to the Open Merit (OM) category must be below 40 years old.
Candidates belonging to the Reserved category must be below 43 years old.
Candidates belonging to the PHC category must be below 42 years old.
Candidates belonging to the In Service category must be below 40 years old
Application Fee :
1. General Category : Rs.1200.00
2. Reserved Categories : Rs.700.00
3. PHC Candidates : Nil
Salary : Pay Level 9, ranging from Rs 52,700 to Rs 1,66,700/-
How to Apply for JKPSC School Lecturer Recruitment 2026?
1. Visit the JKPSC website at www.jkpsc.nic.in.
2. Click on the “One Time Registration” (OTR) link to create a new profile or log in if you already have an existing profile.
3. Fill in the required fields, including personal information, contact details, educational qualifications, and service details.
4. Upload a date-stamped, recent passport-sized color photograph and signature. Ensure the photograph was taken on.
5. Ensure the file size for both the photograph and signature is between 10kB to 20kB, in .jpeg or .jpg format.
6. Click on the “Show Examination” option corresponding to the relevant post/examination.
7. Choose the advertisement notification month, and the available post(s) will appear on the screen.
8. Click the “APPLY” button next to the post you are eligible for.
9. Read the instructions carefully on the new window before proceeding.
10. The system will auto-fill details from your OTR account; you need to complete the remaining fields and accept the declaration.
11. Verify all details thoroughly before clicking the “SUBMIT” button.
12. After submitting the application, pay the requisite fee online via the “Submitted Applications” menu in your JKPSC account.
13. Confirm that the fee payment reflects as “submitted” in your application status. If the status does not update, contact the JKPSC office at Solina Srinagar or Resham Ghar Colony Jammu for clarification.
14. Submit essential documents, including your Date of Birth Certificate, Degree Certificate, Category Certificate, and Domicile Certificate.
15. Once the fee is successfully paid and documents are uploaded, take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.
