PSSSB Jail Warder, Matron Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:-
Jail Warder (males): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized education board or university. In addition, they must have studied Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject at the matriculation level, or have cleared any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
Matron (female candidates): Candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized education board or university. Additionally, they should have studied Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject at the matriculation level, or must have passed any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language as may be prescribed by the Government from time to time.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age 18 Years
Maximum Age 27 Years

For Gen / EWS / Freedom Fighter / Sports Candidates: Rs 1000/-
For SC / BC / EWS Candidates: Rs 250/-
For Ex-Servicemen & Dependent: Rs 200/-
Salary: Rs 19,900-Rs 63,200/- (L-2)
