SSC Junior Eligibility 2026 :
Education Qualification :
Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator: Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English, or English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or either as the medium of examination at the degree level;ORMaster’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject, or English medium with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or either as the medium of examination at the degree level;OR Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level, and a recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or two years of translation experience from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
Senior Hindi Translator: Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English, or English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or either as the medium of examination at the degree level;ORMaster’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject, or English medium with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or either as the medium of examination at the degree level;OR
Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

How to Apply SSC Exam 2026
1. Visit the SSC official website: www.ssc.gov.in

2. The SSC homepage will appear on the screen, then click on the “Apply” option.
3. Search for the link “Junior Translator Examination” and click on it.
4. You will get a “Login to Apply for the Examination” prompt. Click “OK”.
5. You will be redirected back to the SSC homepage where you will find the Login section.
6. If you are a new user or haven’t registered yet, click “Register Now” and enter all details to generate your registration number and password.
7. Otherwise, log in with your pre-registered details.
8. Fill out the Application/Registration form carefully. Ensure all details entered are correct.
9. Attach the required scanned documents and review the filled application form.
10. After reviewing, pay the required application fee using the online payment gateway. Finally, download the application form and take a printout for future reference.
