SSC MTS Eligibility 2026 :
Education Qualification : A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognised State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2026 Exam. There is no minimum percentage requirement in class 10th.
Nationality/Citizenship:
A candidate is required to be:
1. A citizen of India
2. Subject of Nepal
3. Subject of Bhutan
4. Tibetan Refugee
5. Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
Application Fee:
UR and OBC: Rs 100/-
Female or SC/ST: Nil
Salary:
Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 Rs. 5200 – 20200
Pay Band Rs. 4200 or 4600 (Pay Grade 2) Rs. 2400 (Pay Grade 1)
Initial Salary Rs. 5200 Rs. 5200
Basic Salary Rs. 14500 Rs. 7600
Age Limit : Minimum age 18 Years and Maximum age 30 Years
Selection Process:
Stage 1- Paper-1(Computer-Based Examination)
Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)

6. Now, proceed to fill out the application form including your educational qualification, age, category, exam center etc.
7. Pay the application fee.
