1. Introduction to the Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Program
The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Program is a vital Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative sponsored by Tata Capital Limited. This program is designed to provide financial assistance and opportunity to meritorious students across India who belong to economically weaker sections of society.
The primary goal is to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent deserving students from pursuing crucial higher education, including courses from Class 11/12 up through professional post-graduation. By offering variable scholarship amounts and covering a broad range of academic disciplines, the Pankh Scholarship aims to foster educational equity and support future talent.

3. Eligibility Criteria
(i) Target Students: Students currently studying in Class 11 or 12 in India.
(ii) Higher Education: Students pursuing the following courses from a recognized Indian institution are also eligible:
(iii) Graduation (General or Professional)
(iv) Post-graduation (General or Professional)
(v) Polytechnic or Diploma
(vi) ITI courses
Academic Requirement: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their previous academic year.
Financial Requirement: The applicant's gross annual family income must be ₹2.5 lakh or less.
4. Scholarship Benefits and Required Documents
(i) Scholarship Amount: A variable scholarship amount will be provided to selected students based on their merit (eligibility) and the course fees.
(ii) Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card)
(iii) Passport-size photograph of the applicant.
(iv) Income Proof (Income Certificate issued by government authority / Form 16A / Salary Slips, etc.)
(v) Proof of Admission (School/College ID Card or Bonafide Certificate).
(vi) Current Academic Year Fee Receipt.
(vii) Bank Account Details (Cancelled Cheque / Passbook copy for disbursement).
(viii) Mark sheets/Grade Cards of the preceding class.
(ix) Disability and Caste Certificate (if applicable).
5. Selection Process
The selection is a multi-stage process based on academic merit and financial need:
(i) Initial Shortlisting: Candidates are selected based on the online application form (academic performance and family income).
(ii) Document Verification: Submitted documents are checked for authenticity.
(iii) Telephonic Interview: Shortlisted candidates are contacted for a brief interview.
