Delhi Government Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Scholarship 2025-26 for Minority Students
1. Overview
The scholarship is provided by the Department of SC/ST Welfare, Government of Delhi. It is designed for meritorious students from minority and reserved categories pursuing technical or professional courses.
2. Target Categories
The scholarship is available to students belonging to the following groups:
(i) Scheduled Castes (SC)
(ii) Scheduled Tribes (ST)
(iii) Other Backward Classes (OBC)
(iv) Minority Communities
3. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, a candidate must meet the following requirements:
(i) Residency: Must be a resident of Delhi.
(ii) Education Background: Must have passed Class 10th and 12th from a recognized institution located in Delhi.
(iii) Current Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a technical or professional degree course in an institution in Delhi.
(iv) Academic Performance: Must have secured top marks in the final year examination of the relevant course.
4. Financial Benefit
(i) Selected students will receive a scholarship amount of ₹8,000 per stream.
(ii) Selection is based strictly on merit and meeting the eligibility criteria.
