1. Overview
The primary goal of this program is to provide financial assistance for education to students who are academically bright but face economic challenges.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
(i) Educational Level: Open to students from Class 1 to 12, as well as those pursuing Diploma, ITI, Polytechnic, Undergraduate (UG), and Postgraduate (PG) courses.
(ii) Academic Performance: Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in their previous qualifying examination.
(iii) Family Income: The annual family income must be less than or equal to ₹2.5 Lakhs.
3. Scholarship Amount
The financial aid varies based on the level of study:
(i) Class 1 to 6: Up to ₹15,000.
(ii) Class 7 to 12, Diploma, ITI, and Polytechnic: Up to ₹18,000.
(iii) Higher Education: Depending on the specific course, scholarship amounts ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹75,000 are available.
4. Required Documents
Applicants must have the following documents ready at the time of application:
(i) Mark sheet of the previous academic year.
(ii) Proof of Admission (Admission Letter/Fee Receipt).
(iii) Income Certificate.
(iv) Other necessary identification/academic documents.
5. Important Tips for Applicants
(i) Bank Account: Ensure the applicant (or a parent, if the student is a minor) has a functional bank account, as the scholarship is usually disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
(ii)Photo Quality: When scanning documents, ensure the text is legible to avoid rejection during the verification phase.
