NCERT Doctoral Fellowship Program for PhD Scholars
1. Program Overview
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is inviting applications for its Doctoral Fellowship. The primary goal is to enable young scholars to conduct doctoral research in Education and related disciplines to strengthen the knowledge base of education in a contemporary context.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this fellowship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
(i) Academic Record: Minimum of 60% marks in both Graduation and Post-Graduation.
(ii) Registration: The candidate must already be registered for a PhD at a recognized university.
(iii) Age Limit: The applicant must not be older than 35 years.
3. Financial Assistance
Selected candidates will receive the following financial support:
(i) Monthly Stipend: Between ₹35,000 and ₹37,000 per month, depending on qualifications.
(ii) Annual Contingency Grant: An additional ₹10,000 per year to cover incidental research expenses during the fellowship period.
