GIMS Non Teaching Syllabus 2026

Part-1 : Hindi Knowledge and Writing Ability :

Candidates will be asked questions to test their knowledge of the Hindi language, their understanding, and their writing abilities. (This question paper will be of the level of the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh.)

Part-2 : General Intelligence Test :

The purpose of this test is to measure the ability to understand a new situation, analyze and identify its various elements, and reason. The test will include questions that rely on understanding instructions, detecting relationships, similarities, and associations, drawing conclusions, and similar intellectual activities.

Part-3 : General Knowledge :

This part of the question paper is intended to assess the candidate's general knowledge of the surrounding environment and its application to society. The test will also include questions that will assess knowledge of current events and facts of everyday occurrence and experience, including historical and geographical facts (especially those relating to India), and their scientific aspects, as may be expected of an educated person.

Part-4 : Knowledge of computer and information technology concepts and contemporary technological developments and innovations in this field :

In this part of the question paper, candidates will be asked questions related to introduction to computer and information technology, hardware, software, operating system, spreadsheet, e-mail, social networking, information on e-governance, digital financial tools and applications, introduction to internet and world wide web (www), future skills and overview of cyber security, elements of word processing and technological developments and innovations in the field of computer and information technology (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Internet of Things) and India's achievements in this field.

Part-6 : General Information Related to the State of Uttar Pradesh :

In this part of the question paper, candidates will be asked questions based on special knowledge of Uttar Pradesh, history, culture, art, architecture, festivals, folk dances, literature, regional languages, heritage, social policy, customs and tourism, geographical landscape and environment, natural resources, climate, soil, forests, wildlife, mines and minerals, economy of Uttar Pradesh, agriculture, industry, business and employment, polity and administration and contemporary events and achievements of the state of Uttar Pradesh in various fields.
