RRB TGT PGT Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification :
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) of different subjects :
Candidates must have completed Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in relevant subjects
B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised University
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English mediums
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) of different subjects :
M.A. Degree in Drawing and Painting / Fine Arts from a recognised University (OR)
B.A. (Hons) in Art and Art Education (OR)
2nd Class Bachelors degree with Drawing and Painting / Fine Arts with minimum 2 years full time Diploma from a recognised Institution (OR)
12th(+2Stage) with minimum 4 years full time Diploma in Painting / Fine Arts or Part-time Diploma of not less than 5 years duration.
Competency in teaching in English medium
Desirable: Atleast 2 years Teachers Training Course from a recognised Institution OR 2 years teaching experience in a recognised institution
Age Limit : 18-48 years.
Application Fee :
1. Rs.500 for all candidates (Rs.400 will be refunded on appearing in 1st stage of CBT).
2. Rs.250 for SC/ ST/ Female/ Transgender/ EXSM/ PWD/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class candidates (Rs.250 will be refunded on appearing in 1st stage of CBT).
Salary : Rs. 44900/- (Pay Level-7)
Selection Process : Selection will be based on CBT, Stenography Skill Test, Performance Test/ Teaching Skill Test, Translation Test (as applicable) and DV/ Medical Examination.
