MP TET Secondary Teacher Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification :
Educational and professional qualification- It will be mandatory to possess the following qualification as per Schedule-3 of Rule-8 of Recruitment Rules 2018 and the rules amended from time to time-
Only those candidates who have passed and qualified with the prescribed percentage in the "Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 or 2023" conducted by the Eligibility Test Staff Selection Board Madhya Pradesh Bhopal will be eligible to apply.
And Master's degree in the relevant subject and two years Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent
Or
Masters degree with minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject and one year Masters degree in Education (B.Ed)
absence
Bachelor's degree with minimum 45% marks in the relevant subject and Master's degree (B.Ed.) in Education branch as per National Council of Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Or
Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and four-year course in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and four-year baccalaureate degree in relevant subject (B.A. B. Ed. / B.Sc. B. Ed. or B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed.)

Masters degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and one class B.Ed. (Special Education)
Note: Relaxation upto 5% in qualifying marks in educational qualification will be given to reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC and Disabled candidates.
Regarding secondary teacher (Sanskrit) of Sanskrit school, the minimum educational qualification would be Shastri degree in second class from a recognized institute/university with Sanskrit literature/grammar etc. Apart from this, it would be mandatory to be trained in B.A.D.D.El.Ed.
Note - The main subjects mentioned in column 1 and the subjects mentioned in column 2 of Appendix 1 (Chapter-2) concerned will be valid.
